Synchronised critical power at an R&D facility
Our client required generators to support a critical load at an R&D facility while the mains supply was due for an upgrade.
We deployed 2 x Stage 5 60kVA generators which allowed the customer to benefit from low fuel consumption (compared to legacy generators) and a reduction in emissions.
As power was vital to the facility, two generators were needed to run in synchronised loadshare mode for redundancy. The parallel operation also allowed for one unit to be shut down for maintenance purposes while the other carried the load.
Our engineers also carried out full installation and commissioning to ensure the synchronised package was set up correctly and functioned efficiently.
Woodlands provided seamless power for the customer over an extended period of time.
