A flexible, hybrid and low-cost solution for construction

Our construction customer needed to power a tower crane and auxiliary plant equipment. Stage 5 generators were recommended to help the client achieve ultra-low emission compliance.

We supplied 1 x 60kVA and 1 x 150kVA Stage 5 generators so the customer could achieve reduced emissions as well as cost savings. The Woodlands team configured the generators for optimum fuel efficiency; this led to reduced fuel consumption which kept costs down.

As the project progressed, the customer’s load profile evolved and a much lower night-time load was required. Our team replaced the 60kVA generator with a 45kVA/60kWhr ESS battery storage unit to allow a diesel-free night-time and weekend load.

Our full fuel management service was in place throughout the project to ensure continuity of supply for the customer.
