Bringing to life the work of our keyworkers

A longstanding customer was supported to power a display celebrating the work of the Gloucestershire midwives to mark International Day of the Midwife 2020.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Gloucestershire Royal Hospital’s Chief Nurse commissioned a short film highlighting the work of the midwives at Gloucestershire Hospitals. The work was projected by 2 high-powered projectors onto Gloucestershire Royal Hospital’s main entrance. The film was also livestreamed for staff and the public to view online.

We supplied a 16kVA energy storage system to power the display – a portable, silent and emission-free power unit. Energy stored within the unit is converted electronically into mains power. The unit can be recharged by connecting to a mains power supply, a generator, solar PV or wind power. There are also a number of optional features available, including a road-tow kit and remote monitoring.
