Emergency power support for an East-Midlands hospital
When an East-Midlands hospital experienced a major failure with the site’s existing standby infrastructure, we were contacted to install emergency power.
We supplied 3750kVA of temporary standby power, comprised of 1 x 1400kVA generator, 4 x 500kVA generators and 1 x 350kVA generator to continue the hospital’s standby power supply, in accordance with the hospital’s Health Technical Memoranda (HTMs).
Each generator was fully installed and commissioned by Woodlands, including full cable install with Powerlock connections for rapid termination and cable ramps.
In order to reduce disruption to the hospital, the install took place overnight to allow testing and commissioning to be carried out outside of working hours.
Our power generation equipment remained on site for over a year.
