Enabling Oxford United FC to diversify their income stream
As live sport began to return to our screens after the initial COVID restrictions of 2020, sports clubs throughout the country had to consider how best to monetise games in lieu of ticket sales.
Oxford United FC invested in extra LED advertising boards within the ground which required additional temporary power. A couple of days ahead of the first match, we received an enquiry for 2 x 100kVA silenced generators with distribution boards and bulk fuel tanks. These would be used to power the newly installed boards.
Responding quickly, we delivered the generators the following day. One of our engineers remained on site to monitor the generators throughout the match.
