Long-term power support to a Category A prison

We provide long-term power support to HMP Long Lartin, a Category A men’s prison located in Worcestershire, covering emergency and planned power outage support.

We supplied a 1250kVA diesel generator while Voltage Optimisation works were being carried out. The generator was HGV trailer mounted and was completed with a 3000L fully bunded fuel tank, as well as a full 100m set of cables to allow termination to the client’s system.

Due to the client’s dependency on power, our engineers provided a 24/7 watchkeeping/ monitoring service throughout the entire period of operation.
