Prime power support for a textile manufacturer

When a textile manufacturer installed a new production machine, they were left with insufficient mains power for the factory operation. We were contacted to provide prime power support due to the long lead time and cost associated with upgrading the mains supply.

We worked with the customer to provide a cost analysis on our hire and purchase options, based on providing a 3a emissions-compliant machine. We supplied a 250kVA hire generator, along with a 2000L fuel tank. We also provided custom modification on the exhaust of our generator unit, in order to direct the exhaust fumes away from a sensitive area.

The generator remained on site for several months, until the mains upgrade had been carried out. We provided full servicing, maintenance and fuel management for the duration of the hire.
