Providing 6.2mVA of power to Worcestershire Royal Hospital

We were requested to install 2 x 1600kVA, 2 x 1250kVA and 1 x 500kVA generators – resulting in 6.2mVA of power – into a new build hospital wing at Worcestershire Royal Hospital. The generators were programmed to work in synchronisation, and each required 100m cable runs to allow termination to the customer’s supply, along with their own external bulk fuel tank supplies.

As with all hospitals, the reliability on a power supply was critical. Our engineers were therefore requested to carry out complete 24/7 watchkeeping/ monitoring.

Installation and commissioning were also carried out by our engineering team.
