Providing critical back-up support to Aldi during a crucial retail period

We provide critical back-up support to Aldi supermarkets as part of our contingency planning service.

We provided temporary power to one of their newbuild stores in Southampton, to cover a gap between the grid connection and the store’s opening during a crucial retail time in the run-up to Christmas.

The power generation package consisted of 2 x 250kVA generators on a duty/ standby basis, with an ATS panel, providing increased power security for the site. Full installation – including a 150m cable run and site commissioning – was carried out by our engineers.

We also provided a full, remote monitoring service for both the generators and the site’s fuel level for the duration of the hire which lasted 2 months, ensuring up-time over the key period.
